The Badminton BWF World Championships 2023 has just been held between 21-27 August 2023 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Here is a quick round-up of all of the winners.
The men’s singles final was contested by Thailand’s Kunlavut Vitidsarn and Japan’s Kodai Naraoka. The match went to three games ending in Vitidsarn winning 19-21, 21-18 and 21-7.
Meanwhile in the women’s singles, Korea’s An Se Young took on Spain’s Carolina Marin. An Se Young claimed the title winning comfortably 21-12, 21-10.
In the men’s doubles Korea’s Kang Min Hyuk / Seo Seung Jae beat Denmark’s Kim Astrup / Anders Skaarup Rasmussen, 14-21, 21-15 and 21-17.
The women’s doubles saw gold for the Chinese pair Chen Qing Chen / Jia Yi Fan over the Indonesian pairing of Apriyani Rahayu / Siti Fadia Silv Ramadhanti, winning 21-16, 21-12.
Finally the mixed doubles was contested by Korea’s Seo Seung Jae / Chae Yu Jung and China’s Zheng Si Wei / Huang Ya Qiong. The match went to three games with the Korean pair winning out 21-17, 10-21, 21-18.
